On The Dancefloor: Different Circles

William ABO on

Consistently evolving the ever excellent Different Circles is back for another instalment on March 1st.

This month's edition will see the main room playing host to Chicago House legend Marshall Jefferson. Aside from producing 'The House Music Anthem' Jefferson was fundamental in the history of another genre defining anthem 'Acid Tracks'(-5 points if you can't work out what genre got defined there - Ed). Not only applying pressure from his A&R position at the infamous Trax Records to ensure it's release but adding additional production touches to the final mix.

Joining him, playing a Ghetto House set, will be Lit City Trax boss and one quarter of supergroup Future Brown, J-Cush; Different Circles curator Mumdance with a 909 set and sonic architect Logos.

While up in the bar residents Temple and Chris Yaxley keep the vibes running with an on-point selection of House, Garage and Disco.

Tickets are £5 in advance and can be grabbed from View London. Or check out the event on Facebook.

To get you on the vibe we've complied five of our favourite Marshall Jefferson tracks below:
